My Personal Lanyard
« on: November 10, 2010, 06:12:28 PM »
I dont know how many I have made as gifts or to sell, but I finally decided to make my own.
I went with a Law Enforcement theme with Black Blue and Gray.
I will be adding one more drop to each side for my dog whistle and my Sprig.
It only took me half my night, as the turks head knot takes abit, and the neck flat braid was done then undone then done, I dont remember how many times i did it until I finally liked it.

Oh yea, you guys probably havent seen my calls before, so from left to right...
Smoke Ivory short reed goose, Mullberry duck, Amboyna burl and Ivory duck, Smoke Ivory shorty short reed goose.

Have fun.

That one is very nice.  The black blue and gray works.

Nice set of calls too.

Ahh yes.  Every year I chow down on Hermiston melons  :2up:  A bit drier over on your side.

I like how you simplified the second drop to the call.  That removes all the work of evening up the two lines.  Does that hitch stay tied well?

Yup it stays put. I took my lighter and melted it to the other side.
After I did that I realized I could have just used some CA or something.

Yea much drier over hear. This year not so much, kinda weird weather.
Gotta love them melons.
