Used the steel wool and Vinegar stain, then "sooted' the call with a lighter, rubbed in with a paper towel

Thanks, I like the way they came out!
I just got some feedback from a call I sent to washington state that has me smiling

Hey, I recieved your nice coyote call a couple of days ago. About an hour ago I went out to give it a try. I had my dog with me and my camera. I was not prepared at all. My camera was in the bag. I walked over by a big stack of hay and tooted the call a coupe of times and two coyotes about a hundred yards away popped up. I scrambled for my camera, changed lenses and just started shooting some pictures. They did not turn out very good as I just was not prepared. If my dog would not have been with me( on a leash) I think I could have had them eat out of my hands. Thanks Bill
