cocobolo and hedge
« on: May 03, 2010, 01:56:04 AM »
This call is made from cocobolo and hedge. It has my monster howler tone board in it and a oil finish

small call, large sound. All comments welcome
Thanks for looking John

Overall it has a very nice shape to it.     The call collectors out there like seeing the wood grains aligned on laminated calls.  Sometimes it is hard to see the grain lines when the wood is in block form when you laminate the woods together, but a trick there is to turn the block into a dowel before you laminate.

I like the fact that you have your own toneboard in there too!!   :2up:

Thanks gentle men. Thanks for the tip on the wood grain. I always thought it just looked nicer, Never give a thought to the collector side of it.
