Do not use large pieces of T shirt, if they can wrap around a finger they are TOO BIG and are dangerous.  That is why most turners recommend paper towels, they will rip off of your finger, but if you wrap a piece of cloth around your finger you just might remove a finger if it gets caught.

I use the CA finish on my calls also. I use a Q-tip to put it on the inside. Between coats I use steel wool then wipe it down with alcohol. I've heard CA likes an alcohol residue seems to work well for me. Bill I also use the Viva paper towels not much lint on them. On my last coat I use a fine sandpaper to knock any high spots off, steel wool then buff the finish out. So far of all the finish's I've tried this works best for me.

Here's where I get my glue. Good prices and wonderful service.

Wow Braz! that's 1/2 price!!! is the quality good? ... just added to favorites.

I have a friend that is a material engineer, he said the "perfect" surface for CA glue was a residue left by 30% alcohol. That's rubbing alcohol. Tried it out on my last finish, I just cleaned lines between coats and used steel wool, then wiped it with rubbing alcohol. By the time I could tear off another piece of paper towel it was ready for another coat, even on the med. Gave me my best finish to date.

As far as I can tell, it is of the same quality as any other I have ever purchased. Great service too.
