2 squirrel calls
« on: April 20, 2009, 06:40:04 PM »
I got a couple squirrel calls finished up today. I used Charcoal Colorwood for the barrels.

Good lookin' callers!

:pot:  Is the bellow pushing or pulling air across the reed?   :pot:

Why did I know that would be your question you  :pot:   The bellow is pushing air across the reed. The reed is facing the bellow. I think it produces a louder bark.

Yeah it could be interesting. Might even be dangerous. LOL.... This is the last squirrel call. Figured I might as well do them all up today.

I got a feeling that sweet cedar call is going to be moving all the way across the country to Seattle.

That knife might be a bit big for squirrels....maybe this custom sodbuster would work with it.

However, should I call one in to "shoot" it would likely be with my Nikon.... :whistling:
