Help with tone board
« on: November 05, 2016, 11:45:58 AM »
Hello, I am new to the forum.  I am from Louisiana and I have been making calls for about two years now. I finally decided to ask for help. I have been working on bamboo calls lately. They're perfect for where I hunt, plus I really admire Dud Faulk. I love Faulks game calls. Can anyone give me a couple of hints concerning depth of tone channel,as well as degree of downward slope at end of tone board. Thanks very much for your help.

I'm not sure exactly if this is the info you're looking for, but anything in the tutorial section of Reelfoots should be of some help.  I've never built one, but this is where I would start.

What part of Louisiana are you in, Jamie?  I've never worked with bamboo calls.  But, there are a few Louisiana callmakers who do that might be able to help you out.
