Here's a look at a Black walnut howler I put together with some cut offs I had laying around.  Decided I had room to carve a coyote on it.  So here's the progression:

I have come back to look at this one several times.  Beautiful, Dave!  I especially like the 3rd picture.  It really shows that you don't have to remove a lot of material to define the animal (notice the shoulder and neck).   :bigup:
