"Big Cypress"
« on: August 27, 2014, 07:19:33 PM »

Here's a look at a Holly Squirrel call I just finished up.  The carving is a "Orange Big Cypress Fox Squirrel".  A fellow member sent me a photo he took of said squirrel.  I had never even heard of the rascal before?  It intrigued me.  Long story short, I'm sending him a surprise gift.  Hope he likes it.  And if he sees this, so much for the surprise ::)

Thanks for looking!

Dave... I need to work up a call trade with you sometime.  But, I'm afraid I can't produce anything comparable to your carved calls.  Love seeing your work.  And I've never heard of that kind of squirrel either.  But that carving is awesome!
