Cocobolo owl hooter
« on: October 26, 2013, 09:54:43 AM »
Well after searching and trying several different guts I've finally got a sound I'm looking for in a owl hoot. This call is just shy of 9" total length and has a 3/4", 1/2" tennon that I epoxy'd together making it basicly a 1 piece call. Brass band and CA finish and pure owl!

Looks great Mac, as usual.   I would be interested in what guts you chose. I have been asked a hundred times about making an owl hooter but never attempted it.
