wolf howler
« on: August 11, 2012, 01:36:17 PM »
Has anyone ever seen a toneboard for a wolf howler?

My father in-law and i put in for wolf tags in Wis and I was looking to make a few howlers.

Also, has anyone ever seen one not made from a cow horn?

Any help would be awesome. Thanks, Greg

Wolf howlers aren't all that prevalent, so there isn't really anything commercially available for them. I've seen wolf howlers made by Rich Cronk and Brad Holzer.

So, your options are to make one or buy a howler from Cronk.

I have never seen a wolf howler but they are out there.
