A few new squirrel calls
« on: July 11, 2012, 12:50:22 PM »
Here's a burnt osage-
This one's walnut with antler shaving inlay-first try at that- alot of glue on my fingers!!-
This one's black locust shaped like an acorn with burnt cap, with John Hoods permission.
Thanks for looking, any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Those are amazing! Is the antler just a cut sliver out of an deer antler?

:thanks: The inlays are drill shavings of antler glued in with CA.

Looks really nice.  I may have to take the idea of stippling the top of the acorn.

:thanks: for letting me use your idea!! The stippling looks nice but there has to be a better way to do it- I used a rounded off punch and a hammer!!!
