Awesome tutorial Corey!  Thanks for taking the time to do it.  I see a couple things I'm going to try for sure, as I've been messing with double reeds a lot recently.

No problem guys, I hope some people can find some good use out of it. I had a customer ask about tuning a double reed to make it have more rasp and I figured why not make up a tutorial and put it up here for others to share with everyone.

Awesome job man! I bet it was difficult and frustrating to write in so much detail and explanation. I've dabbled in double reeds and I did nothing like this... it took me 3 1/2hrs to get the sound I wanted :stickman1: I believe this way will get me there much much quicker. I gotta say, although I prefer a single reed call, I find everyone I hand the double reeds to sound better and get the hang of them much more quickly. ~Andre

Great tutorial. I have found it difficult to get good detail about call making as most youtube info only covers the basics and I am glad I found this site. excellent , with very clear instructions.
Many thanks
