Title: Wood Sources
Post by: Robert Reed on April 09, 2019, 02:03:28 PM
Where do you guys get your wood???  :hysterical: I have a local place where I can get maple, cherry, walnut, butternut, etc for what seem like reasonable prices but I can't seem to find anything more interesting than that near me. Seems like ebay has lots of stuff but not sure if I trust the quality and the prices are steep. Hoping there's something else out there that you guys might know of.

Thanks!

Same here.  Bell Forest is a good place to get a wide variety of woods to try.  And they state whether the wood is dry or not.  They also provide sample pics of the wood and info to help you know if it finishes well, etc.
