Title: First call on a lathe

Just got my fist lathe for Christmas and have always wanted to turn my own calls so I decided to start with a crow call I do not have a mandrel yet so I just lathed the barrel its cherry burl haven't put a finish on it yet, how am I doin

I like the burl wood .finish her up and post a pic can't wait to see it
