October is a few months away yet, but mark you calendars for October 10th & 11th. For you guys that haven't ever been, it is a fun, relaxed atmosphere along the shoreline of the famous Reelfoot lake. All weekend talking about and blowing duck calls with fellow call makers. There is also a working call contest on Saturday morning, where a call operator runs all of the calls in the division, and judges score the calls based purely on the sound. There's also booth space set up if you would like to set out a few calls for sale too. Saturday afternoon, there are some call making seminars. If you are struggling with duck call toneboards, this is a great opportunity to have some fellow call makers take a look at it and provide some feedback on it.

Dinner at 6pm @ The Acorn Inn, provided by The Acorn Inn
Following dinner- Buy, Sell, Swap and Trade calls at The Acorn Inn great room and waterfront landing. A few tables will be provided. Bring your calls and meet fellow duck call makers and
collectors. Duck calls and hunting stories will be abundant!
Saturday
Custom Callmakers & Collectors Association Working Duck Call Contest @ The Eagles Nest
Get your calls signed in between 7:30 to 8:00 am. Contest to start at 8:00 am.
Tables, Booths, & Room to Room trading 8:00 am to 5:00 pm @ The Eagles Nest Resort
Bring your own table or tent for outside your room, or set up in your room. Booth space also available in the parking lot around the pool at The Eagles Nest. Contact Rob Hurt for available booth space. Duck calls, decoys, and hunting collectables will be plentiful.
CCAA sponsored duck call making seminars @ The Eagles Nest Resort
1:00 pm – Ron Dowda teaching how to make a Reelfoot style duck call toneboard
2:00 pm – Brad Samples will show how to carve a duck into a duck call barrel
3:00 pm – Group panel available to help with tuning and sound production from a duck call. If you are struggling with making toneboards and want some help, several folks will be available to give some personal instructions on how to get your calls to sound and perform better.

I know it will be deer season for me but I'm going for sure gonna take a vacation day for Friday. I miss all the BS from the last few years that I missed. It's a great time for our THO call makers to have another get together too so you all think about it that way.

I have wanted to go for several years now. I have that weekend off, hopefully we're not on strike...all vacation is on standby until the contract is negotiated...I'll be severly pissed if I miss out on duck, bear, deer and moose seasons.

Updating this thread with some updates for the Reelfoot gathering.
Here's the list of all of the venders for Saturday. We are at 27 vender booths and there is room for just a few more.

There will also be a silent auction that starts on Friday evening and continues on through Saturday at noon.
