Here's a hedge owl hooter that I just finished. I used JC100 guts and a satin spar finish.

Nice. I really like the joining of the two parts of the call. Perfect and looks well balanced, just great!

Do you like the metal reeds from JC better than the plastic reed kits?

I think that they end up sounding about the same. It's just easier for me to get my hands on the JC's
