Well I'm starting to get a hang of this alumilite stuff I think. Here's two blanks I cast tonight. Orange and dark gray/black and yellow and black. Always fun to spin these things down and see just what you have inside!! Thanks for looking.

Nice going Ryan, man you don't waste time. I haven't been home long enough to think, much less make anything. Sure was good seeing you again buddy.

Well since it only takes a couple of minutes to pour these, I really haven't done much!! If you look close, you'll notice that these blanks are 2" Not sure where those are headed!!! :whistling:

I just noticed this reply & I had never noticed that they were 2". Thanks buddy. I will make it right with you, Those look really fantistic.

They look good bud. Now let the fun begin I know when I started making my own blanks I got caught up in making different color combos that I didn't realize how much I was stocking up. Until my wife asked me why the heck I was making so much. I had enough blanks to keep me busy for quiet a while.

Hi MoHops -
I'm just getting set up to start casting, I finished off my pressure pot yesterday, and it's tight enough to hold pressure all night long. :2up:
What are you using for molds to make these? And do you use mold release?
Thanks, all help is appreciated.

I'm not using pressure. I'm also casting with Regular Alumilite not the clear. From my understanding, the regular shrinks enough to use pvc pipe for forms and the clear does not. I do not use a release agent.

Thanks MoHops -
Well they look sweet, I'm looking forward to seeing them turned and polished.
