curly maple
« on: December 26, 2010, 08:28:59 PM »
I made this one on Christmas and got it all tuned up today.  It is going to a friend who lives in Maine....He pro staffs for a big name call company so I figured he needed something handmade.  :pot:  It is curly maple with a CA finish.  The brass band was pinned with four copper pins for a subtle accent...Subtle enough that most folks wouldn't even notice it.  First maple toneboard since I figured out what I'm doing and it really actually sounds awesome.  Great volume from this call.
