New to it all........HELP!!!
« on: December 16, 2010, 10:31:40 PM »
I am new to the game call turning scene. I am coming along slowly but surely. I think time and practice is going to be my best friend at this point. I do have a question for the more experienced turners. I have seen a lot of you have a logo or design engraved in your calls. Is one of those $3,000 laser engravers the only option or is there a cheaper alternative to put a logo on a call (both wood and acrylic)?

Thanks fellas!

Gotta pay someone else to do it for you.  Sure not many of us that own a 3K engraver.

Can't do anything with acrylic, but you should pick up a Pigma Micron pen for starters.  Got them at Hobby Stores, or Dick Blick online.
