Great tutorials
« on: October 10, 2010, 01:45:04 AM »
I decided to make some lanyards since I started making calls. Here are my first two. I used the tutorials from this website to do these. Can't stop singing the praises of this forum.

Great looking Lanyards!

Now, tell the truth, how do your hands feel??

Tying those things up just flat out wears my hands out

But they look well done and I like the color choice as well

My hands are freaking raw. I've got rope burns on more than one finger.lol. Lanyards will have to be a once a month thing. I got excited when I started and order a bunch of colors. Now i dont even want to look at the stuff.lol.

Here's a tip -  If you have a pet store around you, go pick up some Vet Wrap and wrap your fingers with it.  I've even used Masking Tape in a pinch  LOL

Yeah, you'll find lots of uses for vet wrap.   It only sticks to itself so it is easy on and easy off and does the job.   You can even use it to camo a rifle in snow camo with the white LOL.
