If you dont mind me asking. Why did you use the acrylic for the toneboard instead of all ABW? Just wandering is all.

18 lpi all the way around.  The upward pointing panels are a bit more narrow, and it makes the panel look like it is checkered with a different tool, but it isn't.  The finish is an oil finish - Velvit oil to be exact.

2 reasons really - right now, I enjoy tuning an acrylic toneboard better than wood.  And I had a small piece of cuttoff ABW left from the barrel, so this is where it ended up.  The acrylic toneboards require less maintenance and hold their tuning better, no matter the humidity, temperature, etc.
