A couple of new short reeds....
« on: June 22, 2008, 05:55:42 AM »
Here you go gang,  my latest.

Bolivian Rosewood

Spalted Persimmon

Goose calls are fun.  Now I'm working on a batch of cow elk calls and starting to develop my own toneboard for duck calls.   The ducks calls are frustrating, I think I'll go bang my head against the wall........ :-*

All The Best!
Doug.

Oh my, I do so like that Bolivian Rosewood. What a beautifull call you made there. Very elegant. Great lines and a great wood. The Spalted Persimmon isn't a slouch either and is beautiful. But again, that Rosewood.....WOW!

Another set of fantastic calls Doug. Toneboards are a pain, but the end result is worth it. Hang in there man, and if you need help or have questions holler.

I like the Persimmon, but man-o-man they both are great.

If you want to sum up the entire duck call making adventure in a single sentance it would go something like this.

"Tone boards are a pain"

But, there lies the challenge !

I was ready to move on to candel holders and light pulls, but then I got some one on one help and made it out of the ditch. Is there someone close to you that can give you a jumpstart or a pull ?
