Well i got me some elk antler see what it was like to turn . Come up with a open reed and small closed reed
Closed reed makes nice call to just slip in your pocket at bout inch round and inch and half tall .

You have to watch that elk antler sometimes.  A lot of it has too much marrow on the inside to make a decent call.

Yea i did noticed that. Was thing of putting few coats ca glue in them .

Nice Work Mate!! Most antler I have turned with the exception of Axis has the same problem with the marrow. But I do not have anything large enough to produce a complete call from, only bands. Good luck with the Moose antler and keep up the good work!

I think those are looking good, but be careful that you don't get too "busy" with the turning. You seem to be enamored with turning beads.  :whistling:
