First Set of Calls for 2008
« on: January 27, 2008, 10:28:13 AM »
This is my first set of 2008, all out of Osage orange.  One closed reed old style, an open reed distress and a JC reed call.  This set is going to stay in Texas.

Beautiful calls.  The burnt accent lines realy make the ossage pop.  Nicely done!

Very nice. I love working with osage. The colors are great, and it is really interesting to see what you are going to get when you turn it. I love your calls. I really like that old style call. I am going to have to learn to make those.

Thanks for the comments.  I have to say that Osage is a dream to work with.  Very few woods turn as easy as it does.  I like the color, but this batch was rather plain compared to some that I have gotten.  Maybe better luck next time.
