Crow howler??
« on: November 04, 2009, 05:39:50 PM »
Here is a project I have been working on in between other projects, it is a small cow horn crow call, the mouth piece is an old skool tongue pincher style made from Buffalo horn with a brass reed. It has brass tube going about three inches into the horn which adds some resonance to the natural attributes of the horn, does a pretty good hail call without squealing out! The brass transition I turned on the lathe with a tool I made, and is integral with the brass tube.
Thanks for looking,comments welcome!

Man that is too cool....I really like the tongue pincher style.....Always had a thing for that old school look. Good job on the brass too!
