My first crow calls

Here are my first 5 crow calls using  Marblewood, Bubinga, Burl Walnut, Zebrawood and Figured Maple

Some really fancy turnings there!   :up1:   Very artistic and they look very well finished.   I notice that you polished the plastic mouth pieces.    Nice touch.   I really do like the burl walnut call, it's just a classy looking piece.

great looking calls. I polished up the insert in the last call I made and didnt get it close to where yours is. Nice work.

I really like to take my time on both sanding and turning.  I figured I have between 2-3 hours in each one. The turning part is easy but the sanding part can sometimes be a pain. I may have to try using a sealer. The finish was all put on by hand 4 coats. My next ones I'm going to try the dip method. My style is after I turn the stock round I look at the piece to see what should be highlighted and then shape from there. My next calls are going to be squirrel and deer.
