Sorry I have not had as much time on here latley .....I am afraid hunting season is only going to give me less time as I am having my busiest year ever.....
Bocote, coco, and apple sets... grunts and bleats.....

I really like the classic flowing style of your calls Al.   Pretty, but they have that serious hunter look about them also.   Sometimes that's a hard combination to pull off.    You did it though, and those are just great looking hunting calls!

Thanks fellas....
I just wish I had more time on the boards. My knuckles are all beat up and my back hurts...I swear if it stops being fun I will quit.

AL, I am always about the hunt......I love hunting with a passion only another hunter could understand. And If one of my calls just spends its whole life on some shelf somewhere.....then that I find embarrassing in a way as I would hope it would work and work well for a long time. I do not own a call that I have not or would not hunt with right now.
And a lot of them I did not make......but I made some friends and had to try theirs too....for example I have made deer calls for a long time before ever coming to these forums....yet right now I hunt with Bills custom calls doe bleat as it works just as well and its like I am taking him along in some way. I know it sounds sappy but I enjoy what I do and I think that is how I get the shape you speak of.
