A couple to mail tomorrow

Finally got these two calls done. The zebra call was easy. It was the bacote that gave me fits! My finish wouldn't dry! Finally I resorted to pestering my mentor, Larry Gresser for the reason why. I needed to coat it with Zinsser first  ::) I'm a bit slow at this stuff at times. A big thanks to Larry for his assist! :)

Good looking call. Nice work. You said you need to coat it with Zinsser first. Why? What is Zinsser?

Thanks....

Zinsser is a sanding sealer, de-waxed(?) shellac, I think? Don't get me to lying, the cans in my shop lol It needs to be sealed to keep the oil from seeping out. It worked wonders.

You have sure come a long way as a call maker.  There is no doubt that you work is right up there with the best of the best.   Beautiful calls - just beautiful!
