A turning I was most pleased with....
« on: May 12, 2008, 11:14:14 AM »
Though the pleasure mainly had to do with the grain of the wood more than any expertise of turning on my part  ;)

The bowl had the coolest grain I've run across with canary wood. The bowl, coasters and call were done up as a wedding gift....

A natural edged bowl I made for my daughter out of red oak.....

And one of many potpourri pots I made up for gifts....

Bored you enough.... for awhile....  :D

Those look great Bonnie. I love natural edged bowls. I bet your daughter was happy with that one.      Ryan

I like the pot. Are the lids readily avalaible from some where ?
My wife keeps asking me when I'm going to make her something, but she has no need/desire for most of the things you can find a kit for. That is the first thing I've seen she would love to have.

Thanks for all the kind comments :)

Yes, the lids are readily available from places like Wood Turners Catalog. I think PSI carries them also. Lost all my bookmarks otherwise I'd post another link. But here they are at WTC....
