Larry, those two calls look awesome.  I like the laminate in the PI call.  Is that a CA finish? Do you notice on Pink Ivory that one side is usually a darker shade than the other?  I have seen this on my stuff.  Oh, and the Tiger Ebony is nothing to sneeze at either!  Excellent work my friend!

Thank you! Mutt that is a 3 coat Lacquer finish, 1 of a sealer 2 of high gloss Lacquer all are dipped. Both calls are made from scraps from my pot calls cut offs if you look close at the lanyard end of the pink ivory you will see it is running end grain out instead of parallel. Yes unless you have a piece of the center heartwood the shades vari from one side to the other.
