Thanks Braz. I ran home on lunchbreak and watched it on DVR (my DVR was set to record every episode of MRA because I didn't know when the episode would air). Correction...It was a Kansas turkey hunt that aired. Guess they didn't film the Missouri one. Keith gave me a really nice plug and is really complimentary of the call. The episode starts out with bear hunting, then KS turkeys.
I made his call from a piece of redwood burl and just wasn't 100% pleased with the sound. So I made him another from cocobolo. When he came to the house he looked at both of them and just loved the sound of the redwood burl, which was just a little more shrill than I care for. I think his cameraman laid quick claim to the cocobolo one because I received a disc of pictures of him with his own bird later in the season!
