First Crow Call

First of all I would like to mention I received my order from THO in only 2 days WOW!!!  :thanks:
I made this for My Brother-in-law and I was trying to go for an old style look. Olivewood and BLO / CA finish. Your comments are welcome.

That a very pretty call. What method did you use to seat the toneboard? A reamer or the Latta method?

Thanks Braz,
                I used a 1/2 dowel rod and made a home made flapper wheel with some emery cloth. I worked the inside of the barrel until I got a nice taper and secure fit. It was kind of a slow process but i think the results were nice.

Yeah that is a very pretty call.   Nice shape and great looking finish.   

Glad your order got there so fast.   The post office does a great job most of the time.    UPS on the other hand - well, I ordered some stuff on the 21st and had it sent 3 day select.   It's going to be delivered on the 29th  :rofl:

Al, I work for UPS, if  you dont get it in 3 days, either the shipper didnt send it out right away or you can call and get the shipping charges back. The 3 day select is guaranteed in 3 days. Get the tracking #  it probably didnt get shipped out right away.
