Very nice  pen Glen. I'm sure your coworker is going to be happy. He should be, that thing looks great.

Oh yeah !  8)
For practical everyday use I'm kind of a one handed click and use type a guy.
( whatever the technical term is for that type of pen  :D )
But that is one CLASSY  lookin pen !
Very nice ! I like that one.

That's pretty. It still looks very hard to do to me. You make nice looking pens.

Thanks Scott. I found a new "click" pen kit & am anxious to get a few turned. I'll let you know when I do.  ;D

Thanks John. They aren't that hard really. To be honest with you I find the Game Calls harder to make than the pens. You just keep turning out those good lookin calls & I'll do the pens.  8)

Very nice pen.  I am sure it will be appreciated.  I had a conversation with my wood supplier last week and he told me the Thuya is almost gone and that it will not be imported any longer.  So if you like the wood, buy it up now when you see it.  I know he has put his last shipment on a shelf and going to wait a while until he sells it.

Here's another Thuya Burl for a fellow Member. Not sure why this pic came out the color it did but the wood is actually a medium brown.

It sure is Chad!! Well,,,, if you want it that is!!  ;D

Didn't the pics come thru the PM's I sent?

Scott-- The ends are poly resin. I have one here on my desk that I've been using for quite some time now & the shine on that stuff is as nice now as it was when I started using it.

Hi John-- Thanks a bunch!! I try to make em all look their best. I had a hard time getting the finish to shine on this one. But it finally came around.

Scott-- I'll have a pen spun up next week sometime. It is like the Thuya Burl above here,, the one for cb223 that is,, except it's a clicker. You'll have 1st dibs on it if you like. Just let me know in this thread is all I ask.  ;D  Not sure what wood I'll use yet but if you think you're interested we can discuss that if you like.

The 1st pen in this post was a big hit for Corey with his Mom. They became inseperable immediately.  ;D  I was glad to help the young man make his Mom so happy on Mothers Day.  ;D He's a good kid that takes a lot of ribbing from the guys on the crew because he's dating the boss' daughter.  ;D
