Whatever kind of wood, it is a beautiful call.   Very nicely done!  I like the detail at the mouth piece.   You should be proud of that one for sure.

Al  beautiful call as always it is olive wood I just got three long branches of it from the local rest stop on highway close to my home and ripped it up for call blocks real pretty wood now just have to wait for it to completely dry out so I can start turning I hate the waiting part!!!

yes it does when I was ripping the limbs down to 2x2 blocks the wood chips are real fine more like heavy sand then wood chips and the wood is heavy it is still little green but when I first lifted the branches it kind of supprised me! I like the look allot and it grows all over the place not far from my house I got the limbs for free going back this week to get more while I can..again real nice looking call keep up the good work...
