Greetings All,
About a week ago a friend gave me one of his handmade lanyards. I really like it and won't give it up for nothing. I have wanted to learn how to make lanyards for as long as I've been turning calls. (6 months)
Well, I've been inspired to learn. I went to Al's tutorial section on braiding lanyards and went at it.
Here is what I did today.
Yup, my hands are sore!!
Black and grey with elk antler do-dad.
Tan and brown with a cocobolo thingy.
Grey and tan with a bubinga what-cha-ma-call-it.
Black and teal with a cocobolo......do-dad I guess.
Anybody know what the wood pieces are called?
Anyway,
thanks Al for the tutorial and having an awesome site where we all can come and learn!
What say you? Comments welcome.
Thanks,
Mark

Here is a picture of the entire lanyard(s).
The one on the right with the singe drop is for my hunting buddy. It's for his ecaller remote. He's a FoxPro kinda guy.
