Well i`m not a turkey hunter but that is a sweet call. I made one scratch box for my neighbor and he loves it (i just remember that my finger was shorter from the belt sander by a few thou.) I think i`ll stick with sounding like a dying rabbit

Not a turkey hunter and don't know much about it. Like the looks of that call, even if I'm not sure about how it works.

it is a hollow box, the top plate (walnut) is glued on three sides to the body. The unglued side has a liip that extends beyond the side and is thinned like the soundboard on a box call. Underneath the lip the side has an open slot (thus the unglued side) which allows the vibrations to excape .........
When rubbed with the flat bar the soundboard vibrates

The bottom (cedar) is thin stock and glued on alll four sides. The cedar soundboard is sanded to a slick finish and does not have any coating on it.
When the pot striker is used, it works like a pot call, but allows for long strikes not short ones on a pot.

Got it. I'll have to get one someday just to try it out.

That is a neat call. I've been turkey hunting for about ten years, I have a couple scratch boxes but I've never seen one like that.

I like it.  Do you sell them?
