I really like the finger lanyard idea.  What is the centre decorative knot called?

I think it is simply referred to as a diamond shaped knot

sorry no exciting story there,..

BTW the start/stop point on the turks head is right there in front.

you will be seeing that keeper again soon,.hope to have that lanyard done this week
