anyone here do any bow fishing i just perfect in my area right now we shot about 50 gar last night and had a blast going again tonight hoping to get some buffalo and carp

I don't, but I am always amazed at the pictures  I see of the big gar.   UGLY looking fish LOL.

Did someone say bowfishing... sure do... been sticking fish for 5 years now... mostly a Night shooter since I can turn calls all day Sat and head out and hit the water when the sun goes down... don't tell anyone but I would rather bowfish than duck hunt....lol.. we start shooting in March and don't stop until the opener of waterfowl in OCT.... we don't have much to shoot in idaho.... Common Carp & Suckers... every now and then we get a Rouge Gold Fish....

Here's a pic of the current Idaho State Record Carp... 48.1 lbs... from this year...
