Thanks every one for input on barrel length Please let me know what you think I'm new at this turning stuff but have thick skin I have been making box calls and wing bone yelpers for while now just got my lath 8 months ago and just love this turning stuff I wouldn't have had the guts to start if not for you guys putting out the information for us just learning ...you guys are great !!

Thanks Harvey that was my first one it is out of Red cedar it is a stubbie but sounds good I didn't know if the leinth made that much of a difference in the sound most responses thought around 3'' and that is how long the other 2 are Thanks for looking!!
