Hawk screamer
« on: April 19, 2009, 09:41:49 PM »
I just did up a hawk screamer. I love playing with these things on grouse. This one is dymoondwood with a little butchers wax "Boston polish" to shine it up a bit.

I am using the jc reed in it. I like the split wedged in reeds better but use what ya got I say. LOL I just noticed that call looks just like my distress without the mouth piece. LOL... Talk about being in a rut. LOL.

LOL. I'm glad you got to give it a test John. When you can find a grouse or pheasant on the ground blow it and watch him/her freeze up. They are a blast to play with.
