« on: April 16, 2009, 01:42:03 AM »
Today I found a #2mt drill chuck at harbor freight it listed for $9.99 but if you look at there web site it is listed for $6.99 you will need to print the add copy from site and take it to the store to get the $6.99 price I nevere can fiquer out why they do this?? Any way thought somebody might need one thought it was great price!!
All so saw some sand paper in 600-1000-1500 grits for around $6.95 pk saw post the other day somebody was looking for finer grit paper  hope this helps out!!

I've got several of thier chucks, great deal on those. Watch out fot thier sandpaper. I use alot of the coarser stuff in thier sanding poll packs, but thier fine grit stuff is too loosley graded for my taste, so I buy 3M wet/dry from Napa by the sheet. Thanks for the hook up, I might have to go get a couple more at that price.

lol, ok.  I use the Magic Sand for my finish sanding.  I bought the combo pack from him and I've been pretty happy with it.

Magic sand works great unless you are wanting to wet sand with slurry. The slurry doesn't stay on top of the mesh
like sand paper.

Tip on Magic Sand.... keep a marker handy. When you cut a piece off, mark the back with a 3, 4, 6, 12 etc...
representing 300 grit, 400 grit etc.... Otherwise you may find yourself buffing your finished call with a non-desirable grit.

They all look pretty much the same. Some difference but not much.
If YOU ground check it,
It goes on YOUR strap.

Stopped at Harbor Freight this weekend and bought the #2MT chuck.  It seems worth a whole lot more than $7 to me....thanks for the tip.
