Real nice looking call after reading every one post I turned my first elk call out of just oak nothing real fancy like you guys do but having problem setting the board I bought the kit from HUT before I ever found this site and it calls for 41/64 hole but the board is real tight I afraid it I force it in it will crack my call is this a taperd fit??
It looks like the call board that Al sells thought I read in one of the posts they where tapered... any input?

I use a #2 morse taper reamer to enlarge and taper the hole for the guts.  Works great!

Do you make your call one piece that is how it looks to me but some of the photos look like it could be two piece? I really like the shape of your calls and the woods where do you get the pink ivory I have some outfitting friends in Colorado and thought about making one for His wife it is just great looking call....

One piece calls.  Sometimes the laminations make them look two piece.
