This originally started out as a question and answer session about expanding mandrals. But it is moving into the area of mandrels for sale. If that is the case, we should be taking it to the Tools and Tooling for Sale section. Just a heads up on this. Thanks.

Do these mandrels have a 60 degree dimple on the tailstock end?  They look short like they are designed for use without a tailstock.  Can larger recessed area on both ends be made so the call body can be turned on the ends and then be sanded?
