Getting ready for Reelfoot show

It’s that of year again, where I make my annual batch of Reelfoot style calls in preparation for the Reelfoot show. I’m just about to the point where they will be close to being finished in a couple of days.

Who all is making some Reelfoot calls for the show in October?

You won't get money rich in this hobby.  The richness is in the culture, the craft, the friends you meet along the way, and being able to call in a wary game animal with a call that you made with your own hands.

Here are the first 5 finished. And there are a couple more in the works that are a different style.

These are out of a hedge post that I had cut up about 8 years ago, and these are the first 5 calls from that post.
