Guys...
I have acquired a Boxford CNC Lathe / Mill like this:
Specs:
https://www.technologysupplies.com/downloads/specification_sheets/530-829.pdfI think this type of machine, that can perform both as a CNC lathe and mill would work well for the small commercial call producer or tech savvy hobbyist. Knowing little or nothing about call making I would like to lean on those of you that have a few minutes to spare.
I am looking to find:
What materials are most common
Tools, or types of tools that would best be suited for call turning
A range of sizes, lengths and diameters to be turned
A range of sizes of products that would be machined in milling mode
Thanks for your time, GC
