Thanks Fred Roe
« on: September 17, 2018, 10:13:03 PM »
Every year about this time of year, I make a few Reelfoot style calls for the show at Reelfoot in October. Every time, I pull out my trusty Fred Roe tutorial and jig, and make a few Reelfoot style inserts. The instructions and jig are excellent, and I’d struggle a whole lot more if it weren’t for them. Thanks again Fred, for sharing the process on how you make your inserts. I promise pics will come once I get the calls finished.

You won't get money rich in this hobby.  The richness is in the culture, the craft, the friends you meet along the way, and being able to call in a wary game animal with a call that you made with your own hands.

I have got to get me one of those jigs before they're all gone if they're not already.  I haven't tackled Reelfoot style calls yet.  But, I'm itching to!

You are welcome!  Always enjoy see your calls Brian.  James check with Wade. He might still have a jig in stock.

That is a great group of classic calls Brian. There is some beautiful wood in that group also.
