Just wondering if some of you guys have tried using liquid friction polish for pot calls, and if so how did it work and look? Thanks!

It has been my experience that it doesn't last and is subject to deterioration due to insect repellants. Check out spar varnish.

That's what I'm using now I just was hoping that friction polish would work good because it seems easier to get a good clean finish with no drips, brush lines or debris landing in the coat while it's drying. How do you apply your spar?

A lot of guys use "Tru Oil" gun stock finish on their pots. Easy to apply and available at Walmart or your local outdoor store. Just follow the directions on the bottle.

I've been dipping in teak oil and then buffing and waxing.. Gives a real clean and balanced finish with no drips or streaks
