Delrin

Hey everyone,

I've been experimenting with delrin and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get a uniform matte/flat finish to it? From my experience and from what I've read is it's extremely tough to get a perfect gloss finish (and to keep it that way) so I'm thinking matte/flat might be the best route.

You'll never get a super nice polish on Delrin.  You might try bead blasting it.  I don't make Delrin calls but have blasted Delrin with 70 grit aluminum oxide at 95psi and it does pretty well.  Oil it after blasting to remove the chalky look.
