Colored delrin/acetal
« on: July 28, 2017, 04:29:33 PM »
Hey Guys,
Where's the best place to buy red and blue delrin/acetal? I've seen complete calls made from them,  but I'm more interested in making toneboards with the material. I found some at macmaster-carr, but it's extremely expensive. I just can't believe this is the same material that I've seen other callmakers use. As always.... :thanks:

Last I knew the colored stuff was A LOT more expensive than the black and natural colored stuff... so may not be all that out of line... though I havent looked up the prices I was quoted a few years ago, nor the McMaster prices to compare to.  I just remember being completely shocked at the price difference for such limited colors.

I bought four different colors from a supplier a couple years ago.  I had to buy minimums tho as they had to make it from what I was told. Ended up with like 50 ft of different colors of acetal haha
