Taxidermist needs someone to turn some inserts
« on: May 20, 2017, 01:34:09 PM »
Hey guys,
I was contacted by a local taxidermist who has four old walnut duck/goose call barrels that he wants to use in a shadow box but they barrels are lacking inserts.  He'd prefer a functional insert but sound quality is not a big concern at all.  This is more for looks.  From our conversation I don't think he's going to be super particular, but would like the shapes to look somewhat correct with the barrels.  The barrels' bores are of varying diameter between 5/8" and 13/16" I believe he said.  This is something that I don't have any interest in doing, but thought that I might be able to get him connected with someone on here that might be interested in doing a little side job.
His name is Stuart and his email address is duckcode@msn.com.  I have spoken to him by phone and do not know him personally, but found him to be friendly and genuine when we talked.
Thanks,
Aaron

Jeff, sorry for the belated reply.  No idea unfortunately.
